Ponte means bridge in Italian,  a fitting name for a restaurant shaped by a journey between three places.

Pontecorvo, Italy A small town in Italy, and the place where our story begins. Ponte the suburb where our owner grew up, a place that became part of his everyday life and identity. Hull a city defined in part by its bridges  connecting one side to another, and offering a fitting final link in the story.

Three places, connected by one name. Ponte is a reflection of the owner's journey: Italian at heart, shaped by the places and experiences that came along the way.

Our Food

At Ponte, Italian cooking is about more than recipes. It is about craft. We take inspiration from the traditions of Italy and approach them with care, making food that is generous, considered and full of flavour.

Breakfast is simple and satisfying. Lunch is uncomplicated and seasonal. Dinner becomes more refined, with dishes designed to be enjoyed slowly and shared around the table.

The menu follows the rhythm of the day and the seasons, with quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation and an unmistakably Italian spirit.
